Located in the heart of the Basque Country in the town of Uhart Cize, our family run bed & breakfast is a 5-minute walk from the town center of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, classified among one of the most beautiful villages in France and an essential stopover on the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.

All our rooms have an en-suite shower, a hairdryer, toiletries and Wi-Fi connection. You can also relax on the terrace or in the garden.

A continental breakfast is served daily between 7am-9am.

Private on-site parking is also available.

From Maison Bernatenia, take the time to discover this beautiful region, the vineyards, the sites and the numerous hikes. We are located 55km from Biarritz Airport, 32km from Cambo-les-Bains and 11km from Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry.

ABOUT US

Having spent many summers visiting family in the Pays Basque we decided to leave the hustle and bustle of London in search of a more balanced way of life for our family.

There are three of us in this adventure: Laurie and Roberto accompanied by our son Mateo.
